Who we are
Vericon Technologies Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202640949D) is a company incorporated in Singapore. We are the organisation responsible for the personal data described here, and this policy is written to meet our obligations under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
Our Data Protection Officer can be reached at support@vericon.tech.
What we collect
- Conversations with the site assistant. Everything you type into the assistant, the assistant’s replies, and the summary it produces. This may include your name, the name of your business, how to contact you, and details of how your business operates.
- Messages you send us directly by WhatsApp or email, including any summary you forward.
- Technical data needed to run the site safely: a salted hash of your IP address, used only to limit abuse of the assistant. The raw address is not stored.
- Aggregate analytics such as page views and country, collected without cookies and without identifying you.
We do not use advertising trackers and the site sets no tracking cookies.
Why we collect it
To understand what you are looking for, respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal if you ask for one, and keep the assistant working reliably. We rely on your consent, which you give by starting a conversation after reading the notice shown in the assistant panel, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Who processes it on our behalf
- OpenAI — provides the language model behind the assistant. Conversation text is sent to OpenAI to generate replies and summaries.
- Vercel — hosts the site and its server functions.
- Neon — stores conversation transcripts and summaries in a database.
- Resend — delivers the summary and transcript to our inbox by email.
Some of these providers process data outside Singapore. We only use providers that commit to a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
How long we keep it
Conversation transcripts and summaries are kept for up to 12 months from the last message, or longer if they form part of an ongoing engagement, in which case they are kept for the life of that engagement and for 6 years afterwards to meet our record-keeping obligations. Rate-limiting records are deleted within 24 hours.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete it. Write to support@vericon.tech and we will respond within 30 days. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot continue an enquiry.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new date.
